The IDA Residency kicked off with its first session in June, welcoming Shiuan Chang, a composer of Taiwanese origin based in New York, and Almudena Romero, an artist of Spanish origin based in London.

Florence Marmiesse, co-founder of IDA, was invited by Louise Hamlin and Alison Bertho to speak at ‘The Art Business Conference’ held at the Grand Palais last February, organised by ‘Art Market Minds’ and Beaux-Arts group.

Museums preserve the memory of techniques, materials and forms. Through our projects, we foster links between businesses and cultural institutions to support the preservation of heritage and the passing on of craftsmanship.

IDA advises collectors on a monthly basis and over the long term on the management of their collections, tailored to their identity and objectives. IDA develops an artistic strategy for building a collection, from researching and commissioning works to management, including condition reports and marketing materials.

Working with artists requires integrity and cannot be undertaken without a deeper purpose. IDA’s work to promote meaning in artistic projects is highlighted in an Artnet article by Devorah Lauter, which focuses on collaborations between artists and brands.

IDA Art Residency 2026

Last summer, IDA welcomed six artists to Ebbio in Tuscany, for a residency dedicated to experimentation and artistic growth under the theme “Seeds Grow”.  Marion Flament · Presented a new series of six sculptural chapelets at Ceramic Brussels, in collaboration with Romero Paprocki. Louise Vendel · Institutional solo show Mon regard est tien at Les Églises, Chelles. Inspired by the residency, the work invites viewers to see the desacralized church through the perspective of non-human beings.
