News from 2024 Residents

Last summer, IDA welcomed six emerging artists to Ebbio Estate, Tuscany, for a two-week residency dedicated to experimentation, cross-disciplinary exchange, and artistic growth under the theme “Seeds Grow”.

What do they become?
–  Yoann Estevenin:  The Dreamer, a solo show presented by La Peau de l’ours at Art Paris Art Fair, was named one of the best shows of the year by  Beaux Arts Magazine.

–  Jade Tang:  Exhibited in  Paysages alimentaires at Château de Sainte-Colombe-en-Auxois, part of  Arcade Design à la campagne, with support from DRAC Bourgogne-Franche-Comté.

–  Marion Flament:  Presented a new series of six sculptural  chapelets  at Ceramic Brussels, in collaboration with Romero Paprocki.

–  Louise Vendel:  Solo exhibition  Mon regard est tien at Les Églises (Chelles), in June was inspired by the residency, the work invited viewers to see the desacralized church through the perspective of non-human beings.

–  Conie Vallese:  Featured at Milan Design Week with a sculptural installation at Villa Bagatti Valsecchi.

–  Sulian Rios:  Premiered  Widows, an original choreography developed during the residency: exploring memory, loss, and embodiment through movement.
