French Delegation of the Ministry of Culture, Rabat

The  Ministry of Culture, the  French Institute of Morocco, and the  Hiba Foundation  selected IDA to participate in the French delegation at the  Moroccan Forum of Cultural and Creative Industries in Rabat.

Morocco has emerged as one of the most dynamic art markets in Africa and the Arab world, IDA engaged with partners to develop artistic projects in this region, window onto the African continent. Culture is a strategic driver of development, innovation, and international cooperation. IDA met with cultural actors, artists, institutions, and companies involved in structuring the creative industries in Morocco. Because when art meets business, new narratives, new uses, and new impacts emerge.

Focusing on the process of collaboration between artists and businesses, IDA led a workshop on the theme:  Artistic collaborations with businesses.

The French Ambassador to Morocco, Mr.  Christophe Lecourtier, invited IDA to a reception at the French residence in Rabat.
Created in 2006 on the initiative of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the HIBA Foundation plays an essential role in the development and promotion of art in all its forms, supporting structural cultural projects and contemporary artistic creation.
